La Fleur at Phipps to Celebrate Pittsburgh Earth Day

PITTSBURGH (Jan. 7, 2025) – The Green Voice and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens are thrilled to announce La Fleur at Phipps, an unforgettable evening of music, art, fashion, culture and beautiful botanicals.  The event takes place on April 3 at 6:30 p.m. against the beautiful backdrop of Phipps’ Spring Flower Show and kicks off the Pittsburgh Earth Day Series of Events.

This one-of-a-kind sustainable soirée is curated by The Green Voice and will take place throughout multiple rooms of Phipps’ historic glasshouse.  Guests will enjoy a myriad of unique performances held in iconic display rooms such as Palm Court, Broderie Room, South Conservatory and more.

Prepare to be dazzled by these exciting events: 

  • Enjoy music from operatic performer Daphne Alderson and accompaniment
  • Listen to the beautiful sounds of Cello Fury String Quartet Trio 
  • View live floral fashion draping by Brian David
  • Explore fashion displays by Bradford Mumpower, Michael Kouri, Patricia Gallagher and Taylor Fisher 
  • Marvel at floral headpiece fashions on event greeters designed by Olesya Nova 
  • Watch a performance vignette by Confluence Ballet 
  • See a mash-up dance performance by Cameron Waters and Nia Goodman  
  • Take part in a meet and greet with local artist Claire Hardy featuring paintings from her “Jolie Fleur” collection
  • Dance to the beats of DJ Jimmy
